E.ON defines you as a “large energy user if you have more than 20 sites, have half-hourly meters or use more electricity or gas” than listed above. They have many plans to choose from if this is your business.

Fixed Energy

  • Renew your existing contract with E.ON at any time.
  • The price you pay for wholesale electricity or gas will not change, however they will pass through changes in non-energy costs under specific circumstances.

  • A contract which means you don’t have to buy your electricity or gas all at once. You have the ability to purchase your energy when market conditions look right to you.
  • Fixed period contract (up to 5 years) where you choose whether you want to purchase your energy monthly, quarterly, seasonally or annually, in or out of sequence.
  • You can even purchase percentages of these individual periods to give you optimum flexibility.

Flexible

  • A contract which allows you to purchase your electricity or gas through our E.ON’s Flexible Products Team.
  • Ideal if you like to manage your energy prices and make the most of market conditions.
  • You even have the option to unfix your purchases if the market conditions are in your favour after you have secured your energy, or if your forecast changes.

Market trigger

  • An ideal ‘starter’ flexible product, enabling you to buy electricity or gas in more than one go, when market conditions suit you.
  • You purchase 0%, 25%, 50% or 75% of your total contracted electricity or gas consumption upfront. You can then buy the remainder later in the year (Market Trigger Annual), or monthly (Market Trigger Monthly).
  • E.ON will monitor the market against trigger points set by you, then inform you if it moves above or below those points.
