Initially established as a water provider in Scotland, Clear Business has steadily expanded into new markets. Clear Business Energy offer a comprehensive suite of services, including Green Electricity, Gas, and Water across both England and Scotland, along with Phone Lines, Broadband, Mobile, and Insurance (facilitated by their sibling company, The Insurance Octopus). All of these monthly services are conveniently consolidated into a single bill.
Clear Business’s call centres are based in the UK and claim to have over 140,000 business customers and as mentioned above, offer a range of services beyond just energy (similar to Utility Warehouse).
They also put their money where their mouth is, promising customers £30 if they fail to show up to any appointment without letting you know. They also claim they'll charge VAT properly (5% instead of 20%) for charity energy, home business and low-use customers.
Overall their focus is on SMEs, so may not be right for everyone, but is certainly worth a look.
